Welcome to the ACCENT Neighborhood! This neighborhood is located on the East side of Des Moines with boundaries of Hubbell Ave, East University Ave, East 33rd St, and west of Hubbell Ave/Easton Boulevard, and I-235. ACCENT is an acronym for: A Community of Central East Neighbors in Transformation. Neighborhood meetings are held quarterly on 2nd Wednesdays in January, April, July, and October at East Side Senior Center, 1231 East 26th Street @ 6:30pm.
